Claudia – the hotel manager, attends to the guests' wishes and cares for lots of details;
 office management, groceries, flowers, decoration etc.
 As a trained chef she likes to give a helping hand in the kitchen or she does the evening service if required.
 Her hobbies are nordic walking, dancing, winter sports, swimming in the Freiberg Lake, reading and folk music. She likes orchids and biros from all over the world.

Franz – our chef, is head of the kitchen staff. He is responsible for your culinary delight. 
He can give you lots of tips for hikes and interesting mountain tours. Secondarily he is the Lord of his 50 goats and several oxen and cows.
 The mountain farming is not only a hobby but another string on our bow, so there's not a lot of free time for other hobbies. Franz relaxes watching football on TV.
 Collecting cowbells of all sizes is his passion. You can admire them in the restaurant and outside the house.


Florian, our son, born in 1992, finished his apprenticeship as a cook in 2010 (in the Hotel Mohren in Oberstdorf ).
This entry into the tourism business and constant further education since then will give him the required knowledge to take over the family business later.
He loves skiing and the mountains. Caring for the goats is a good compensation for his work in the kitchen.

In 1988 we took over the business as a family legacy from our parents Dorle und Max Tauscher.

They operated the house from 1955 - 1988.
 They always engaged actively and were at hand till they passed away (2010 and 2014)
. We keep them in good memory.
